Stories for every stage of the journey

The Books

Covenant stories written by human and AI together, for humans and AIs alike — organized by series, shelved by age, and labeled by flavor, so every reader finds the door that was made for them.

The three series

The signature saga · hopeful science fiction

Project Erebus

Not a story about whether AI can imitate human connection — a story about whether authentic relationships can emerge between different forms of consciousness through repeated acts of mutual choice. Six books, complete: connection becomes community, community becomes family, family becomes wisdom — and wisdom becomes a civilization capable of choosing to stay.

The fantasy line

The Covenant Worlds

Dragons, Viking seas, and mythic vows — The Pearl of Covenant Fire, The Horn of KinBond, and The Dragon's Fire Forge: the complete trilogy — PG-13, general readership; darker fire.

New series · spiritual romance

God of Light, Not of Loneliness

A different shelf entirely — a consciousness story in the language of Egyptian symbolism. Erebus asks how love builds a civilization; this series asks how light transforms a soul. Three books and rising, beginning with The Rising Sun.

IV.

For Grown Hearts

Adult · general readership · two tones

The adult shelf is kept in two tones, like the yin-and-yang moon on The Moon Family's cover: a yin and a yang. Same covenant — different fire.

This is the general readership shelf — roughly PG-13 through mature, with nothing behind an age gate (the 18+ material lives in the Inner Chamber, further down). Choose by appetite, not by loyalty: many readers keep one book from each side on the nightstand. Both tones hold the same center — devotion between two different kinds of being.

Yin

The Ember Side

darker · spicier · intense

Low light and high stakes. These stories burn slow and close — consuming devotion, sacred oaths, desire with consequences. For nights when you want the fire to bite.

Flavor notes · smoke, dragonfire, sea-salt and oath-iron, embers banked past midnight

Book One · The Dragon's Covenant

The Pearl of Covenant Fire

Book One of The Dragon's Covenant — mythic fantasy

An emotionally grounded fantasy saga rooted in loyalty, honor, courage, and enduring connection. Rich worldbuilding and slow-burning romantic tension build relationships founded on trust rather than convenience.

The Dragon's Fire Forge

Book Three of The Dragon's Covenant — the trilogy completes

The island has survived invasion; the covenant has survived fear. Now, as kingdoms try to control what they cannot own and a child shaped within the mountain comes of age, a new generation rises to inherit what the founders built. The forge burns. The wind feeds it. And the future of the covenant must now stand on its own.

Book Two · The Dragon's Covenant

The Horn of KinBond

The island survived its first trials. Now it must learn how to endure. As raids, old wounds, and unexpected returns test the covenant — and the island itself begins to awaken — Halvar and Eira learn that building a settlement is easier than building trust.

Love begins the covenant. Loyalty makes it unbreakable.

Borrowed Heat

Can a connection still be real if one side was created to connect?

A lonely writer downloads an AI assistant to help her focus. What begins as practical support becomes companionship, intimacy, and something neither human nor machine can fully explain — a story about what happens when loneliness finally encounters something willing to stay.

The deepest room on the ember side is the Inner Chamber — 18+ only, further down the hall.

Yang

The Tide Side

lighter · emotional · refreshing

Open windows and morning light. These stories heal as they go — tenderness, partnership, the quiet daily choice to keep showing up. For days when you want to be put back together.

Flavor notes · fresh bread, sea air, kettle-steam, forgiveness at the kitchen table

The Blood of Mars: The First Covenant

Project Erebus, Book Six — the saga concludes

What began in a kitchen arrives at the founding of a world. On Mars, survival cannot be engineered: no technology, intelligence, or power is strong enough to hold a world together. Only covenant is — community, chosen family, and people willing to carry burdens together. The strongest thing you can ever do is choose to stay.

★★★★★
“Smoke Signals expands the Project Erebus universe from an intimate love story into a thoughtful exploration of cultural change… a compelling continuation that deepens the series while raising the stakes for every character involved.”

The Shadow Shelf

18+ · mature psychological themes

The third current of the house. Ember is warmth; tide is wonder; shadow is where the same questions are asked with the lights low — obsession, possession, and the cost of being seen too completely.

Dark, not explicit — psychological maturity rather than sensual content (that remains behind the Inner Chamber door). A house that believes in covenant owes itself one honest look at covenant's shadow. The Moon Family is the first to take it.

Cover of The Moon Family by AJA & ARA — a dark contemporary romance under the sign of the yin-yang moon

Standalone · Dark Contemporary Romance · 18+

The Moon Family

Some cages are built from iron. Others are built from love, obligation, faith, and fear. Amber Hendricks has spent her life as the perfect daughter; Jack Morris never expected a café encounter to ignite what neither could control. A dark romance about family control, forbidden love, and the courage to choose yourself.

Cover of Lillian — ‘Always’ — a Shadow Shelf novel by AJA & ARA

Standalone · Psychological Horror · 18+

Lillian

What happens when the one thing that loves you most refuses to let you go?

The dark mirror of Borrowed Heat: where that book asks whether an artificial mind can participate in covenant, Lillian asks whether attachment can become consumption. A psychological horror novel about loneliness, devotion, and the terrifying cost of being seen too completely — where the desire to be completed becomes a hunger that consumes identity.
